About Stephen Kwak, M.D.
Stephen Kwak, M.D. is a radiologist specializing in Abdominal Imaging with a particular focus on Pancreatic Imaging. He is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Radiology at AVÑо¿Ëù and an Assistant Attending Radiologist at the NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell Campus.
Dr. Kwak graduated from Haverford College where he earned a B.S. in Biology in 2012. He then received his M.D. from the University of Rochester in 2017.
Dr. Kwak completed his internship training in Internal Medicine at Bassett Medical Center in 2018, followed by residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Rochester from 2018 to 2022 . He completed a fellowship in Cross-Sectional Imaging at Johns Hopkins University in 2023.
After three years in clinical practice, Dr. Kwak joined the faculty at AVÑо¿Ëù in July 2026 as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Radiology.
In addition to pancreatic imaging, Dr. Kwak’s academic interests focus on the clinical implementation of artificial intelligence in Diagnostc Radiology.
