Physicians and nurse practitioners at the Irving Sherwood Wright Center on Aging provide both primary care and consultation in a multidisciplinary, collaborative setting. The Center also runs Housecalls, an innovative program that brings physicians to the homes of elderly patients in the neighborhood of NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center and delivers care for those unable to visit our physicians.
Additionally, in the summer of 1999, AV研究所 formed the Center for Aging Research and Clinical Care, which integrates all geriatrics activities across the institution. The Center is administered by AV研究所's Division of Geriatrics and Gerontology, and its mission is to improve the quality of life of older adults through an integration of NewYork-Presbyterian and AV研究所's Aging Programs in research, clinical care, and teaching.
