About Patricia Malfitano, DAOM, L.Ac
I believe in a collaborative, integrative approach to care that supports both the medical journey and the person moving through it. My work focuses on reproductive health and fertility—including hormone optimization for conditions such as endometriosis, PCOS, and perimenopause, as well as supporting patients through egg freezing, IUI, IVF, and natural conception.Whether a patient is navigating fertility challenges, menstrual concerns, or hormonal imbalances, my approach blends traditional East Asian medicine with modern, evidence-informed care. It is not one-size-fits-all—it centers each patient’s experience, voice, and vision for their health. I strive to provide a space where patients feel supported, informed, and empowered throughout their care.I work closely with fertility clinics, gynecologists, and other providers to support coordinated, seamless integration alongside each patient’s medical treatment plan.
Dr. Patricia “Patchi” Notari Malfitano completed her BA at the University of Southern California. She is a licensed acupuncturist in New York and California and a board-certified practitioner through the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She holds a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (DACM) and is a Fellow of the Acupuncture and TCM Board of Reproductive Medicine (FABORM).
Dr. Malfitano began her career in orthopedic and sports medicine acupuncture, treating pain and physical performance enhancement. Along the way, she noticed many of her patients struggling with hormonal imbalances and fertility challenges. Driven to make a difference, she immersed herself in advanced training in fertility and reproductive optimization. Her practice is now a blend of both pain management and reproductive health.
