About Mariano Siragusa, MSN, NP
Mariano Siragusa, MSN, AGNP-BC is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner specializing in Urology. He currently serves as the Chief Advanced Practice Provider (APP) within the Department of Urology at AVÑо¿Ëù.
Specializing in General Urology and Mean’s Health, Mariano provides care for patients with a wide range of conditions such as lower urinary tract symptoms including frequency and urgency, hematuria, prostate-specific antigen (PSA) testing, low testosterone and erectile dysfunction (ED).
Mariano brings a diverse clinical background spanning specialty urology practice, emergency medicine and long-term care. Prior to focusing exclusively on urology, he provided comprehensive care to patients in multiple long-term care facilities throughout Brooklyn. Before becoming a Nurse Practitioner, Mariano served as a Registered Nurse for nine years, spending his final five in the Emergency Department at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center, where he cared for a broad spectrum of acute and complex medical conditions. These experiences have continued to inform his clinical judgment, procedural skill and patient-centered approach.
A native of Staten Island, Mariano earned both his Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing from the College of Staten Island, graduating at the top of his class. His early clinical training included focused rotations in urology, where he developed a strong interest and passion for the specialty.
