About Alexander Chen, M.D.
I chose primary care for the relationships. Being with my patients through both their best moments and their hardest moments is what makes this work meaningful. My practice is built around that continuity, with a particular interest in using technology to make those relationships more informed and to help each patient age as well as possible. My goal at each and every visit is to use the cutting edge of evidence-based medicine to deliver care that is personalized to the individual in front of me.
Dr. Chen earned his Bachelor of Science from Yale University, where he studied molecular biology, and his medical degree from UCLA School of Medicine. He completed his residency in internal medicine, with a focus on primary care, at Weill Cornell Medical Center. Dr. Chen has particular interests in the applications of new technology in primary care and serves on the Society of General Internal Medicine's Artificial Intelligence Task Force.
